Year 3 STEM week

During STEM week, two charities came into to our classroom to tell us about their organisations. Dorothy, from Barnardos, gave us the task to order items, by price, from her shop. We did well at this task and it made us think about all the children in the world who are in need. Trevor, from the blind charity, brought along some equipment that is used to help people with sight problems. Trevor also brought some glasses along to help us experience what it would be like to be blind. From this we learned that it would be really difficult if we had sight problems and that we need to help them as much as we can.

During STEM week we also visited Alnwick gardens! Click here to see our pictures.
